‘Farida Zaman, For the Love of Country’ by Martin Bradley is a biography and appreciation of the paintings of Dr Farida Zaman. Farida Zaman, painter and professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, has an amazing ability to evoke the memories of her rural village by the mighty river Meghna where the households resonated with the rhythm of work.
